That's a nice use case, but this is not in scope of the project.

Not sure it would be popular enough to warrant development.

Even if code for calculations already existed, I wouldn't add it to web component because it would drastically increase package size. Increasing web component size for a rarely used feature is not acceptable.

No, I wouldnt add it to the WebComponent either.

But it could be added to a separate component, along with a database of svg specific mount points.

There are many really complex UX processes I have been able to solve elegantly with this technique.
