Hey,

Since this is a native package, it has to be built for every node version separately.
I remember I had issues with node 16, but I don't remember what exactly.

I've opened a PR to see if it works: #2

I just merged the PR that will also build on node 16.
LMK if it works for you (make sure all the actions pass before you do)

If so, I'll also release a version for 17 :)

While at it, could you also release a version for v17? 😉

Anyway, I tried to use [email protected] with [email protected], but it didn’t work either. I tried to download node-v88-linux-x64.tar.gz.

All tests pass, but it does not publish a new version (publish step seems to be skipped), therefore npm i native-sizeof still fails (maybe that is intended).

Do I need to build it locally and use that build in order to test the latest commit? Or is there other way? 😉

I'm sorry, the publish step didn't run on this action.
I tried running it, but it fails on node 16.

Related issue is here: bchr02/node-pre-gyp-github#34

Let's see if they can fix this library. if not, I'll find an alternative

Thanks for trying to fix it. 🙏

As I see it, node-pre-gyp-github seems to be rather unmaintained (latest commit merged into master is from 1 December 2018) and the package owner didn’t react on the issues created approx since then.

Therefore I suggest to replace this dependency.

node 16 should work (I tried it on my machine)

Will do 17 in a few minutes
