Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.
Okay, Brawl+ works by adding a .gct cheat file which changes the Smash engine,
as
well as using modified character .pac files for fighter adjustments, like
dashing
speeds, gravity, and move power. Brawl+ also included some character texture
.pac
files, so that it would be easier to see which team someone was on in a team
battle. However, around 99% of us are using our own modified character
textures and
characters, like a Shadow The Hedgehog texture or the Project Mewtwo lucario
modification. We would like to be able to select (and maybe save) a list of
files
that WILL NOT be updated, so we don't have to go back and search for the
overwritten
files on our computers and the internet.

They don't overwrite texture hacks. I think you're talking about the pre-made
SD card
pack, those comments should go in the B+ forum or chat.
Brawl+ uses .pac files, yes, but they use files like FitSonic.pac, FitSnake.pac,
FitKoopa.pac etc. They are not numerical-ending files.
Texture hacks use FitSonic00.pac, FitSonic01.pac, FitSnake06.pac, which Brawl+
doesn't touch. They end in a two-digit numerical format.
If you're using PSA characters like Wisp, Roy, Zero, it's your own fault for not
backing them up beforehand, and they're easily re-obtainable unlike texture
hacks.

numerical
PACs for Sonic so that players can tell what team they are on, and the rest are
just
i.e. FitMario.pac! I'm just saying that it would be a nice feature, especially
if
you think a previous Brawl+ character was best!

Okay, sorry for the confusion, this should clear it up:
"Texture hacking support: A texture hacking code is built-in which enables
users to
put custom textures into brawl. This has been used for competitive regulation
to
replace ambiguous team colors for lucario, PT, and more."
However, I could have sworn that 2 or 3 Sonic textures were included.
Again, I am just saying that it would be a nice feature that should be fairly
easy
to implement. (Or maybe not, I don't know anything about Wii programming.)
This could be nice, say, if you have a custom codelist.
