I was trying install the Material Skin for Universal Apps.

try to find it in the reference , if you find it remove, rebuild , and add again , if fails , try to reset the VS app

The MaterialSkin library is purely for WinForms projects and not for Universal Apps.
In the 'Output' pane in Visual Studio when you try to restore it, you will get this error:
MaterialSkin 0.2.1 is not compatible with UAP,Version=v10.0 (win10-x64).
