Hi,
the vignette is updated and rerun every time a patch is been made (such as a few minutes ago). Thus the most likely cause is that your packages are outdated in some way. I also note that you seem to use the development version of INLA rather than the stable one. Could you please run these commands in the following order and report if that fixes things?
remove.packages("INLA")
install.packages("INLA",repos=c(getOption("repos"),INLA="https://inla.r-inla-download.org/R/stable"), dep=TRUE)
remotes::install_github("IIASA/ibis.iSDM")
library(ibis.iSDM)
ibis_dependencies()

Hello, sorry for the delay
I'll give it a try, thanks! I think I was using the test version of INLA because install.packages("INLA",repos=c(getOption("repos"),INLA="https://inla.r-inla-download.org/R/stable"), dep=TRUE)
was returning non-zero status for me.
Now I'm testing devtools::install_github(repo = "https://github.com/hrue/r-inla", ref = "stable", subdir = "rinla", build = FALSE)
, so I hope it works properly.
Edit: yep...didn't work. I'll have to fix INLA first.

I assume it is dependency and local setup issue. Reopen if not.
