Hi Darren,

why did you post the same question twice, one here and second one in imodeljs project. The duplicates just polute discussed topics, but I do not think it ensures the issue will be solved faster.

Because iModelJS is based on NodeJS runtime, I recommend to search NodeJS forums and communities, where recommended ways how to release a project and related best practices have been discussed quite often.

Or do you experience any issue with the project release that seems to be specific to iModelJS frameowrk or implementation?

Most of the release process of a service or application is really up to you and common practices for Node.js. If you're having specific issues with the tools provided by iModel.js then we can definitely help resolve those and the issue may belong in the iModel.js repository.
