Hi there, I'm Imran Asif 👋

I have done my Ph.D. from School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. I am currently working as a Senior Research Software Engineer (FAIR Epigraphy) at the University of Oxford. I am broadly interested in the semantic web, semantic web tools, data visualization, data management, data integration, data extraction, Knowledge Graph, FAIR Data, semantically enabled publications, blockchain and recent developments being made in this field. I am working on semantically enabled scholarly publications such as Nanopublications, Research Objects, and Scholarly HTML in my Ph.D. The best part of my research is working on semantic web technologies like OWL, RDF, RDFS, Jena API, Java IDE, Jupyter Notebook, Python and SPARQL query development. In future, I am interested in working on more complex and challenging semantic web technologies.
