I have been going by http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/php/code_list.php so I believe por.yaml

But in this case would be for language Portuguese of Portugal and not Portuguese from Brazil. This table ISO639-2 does not contain the Brazil. So i belive tha pt-br.yaml would be better. Like sample: http://code.google.com/p/svnbook-pt-br/

I have a question for you all: I currently have both pt-br.yaml and pt.yaml. What should the names of these two languages be? Português do Brasil and Português Português? Something else?

pt-br for Brazil and just pt for Portugal

Dont worry Greg...

You can use "Português (Brasil)" for translation "pt-br" and "Português (Português)" for translation "pt-pt"...

Bye.
