@pfefferle i will check that out, thanks! It'd still be great to have this option in the micropub plugin for filtering on client id or other micropub specific attributes.

If supported it could also be used to push tags (example "private") that are apparently being built into plugins like JetPack to act as a "switch" to prevent JetPack from publicizing/emailing subscribers on particular posts. See also: Automattic/jetpack#7 (comment) which is apparently on track to become a feature soon.
