I think the only solution for such an edge case would be allowing the user to manually define a label origin.

I think this is not really an edge case. Furthermore there are some problems with the validations:
- Given: an already published label "Abfall&Mist" #=> origin: "Abfall-Mist"
- A label "Abfall-Mist" (which acts a a new label) would replace the old one after publishing.
Unfortunately this is a big problem during skos import when different labels ("Apple-Tree", "Apple-tree") would be mapped to the same origin.

Solved some time ago with f27b1c0. Now we are using random generated hashes for origin generation.
