Sorry, Intervention Image is based on the GD library. GD doesn't support SVG at all.

Thanks for the reply, but is there a way to at least enable a method for allowing unknown filetypes? I can use SVGs in my application and they show up fine in the browser, but since i'm using Davzie's Laravel/Bootstrap, which uses Intervention/Image, it throws an exception when I upload an SVG through my CMS, so if I goto use my CMS - since it's using Intervention/Image, it will throw the error - so i'd just like to turn that off somehow - or allow for unknown filetypes even if Intervention/Image doesn't interpret the file at all.

I don't know Davzie's Laravel/Bootstrap but since it seems to be based on Laravel 4, I would handle the exception with Laravel and tell the user what's wrong. Or just limit the upload to certain file types.
