@mymo689 standalone components are expected to be imported individually. Mass importing/defining web components that are unused in the actual template implementation leads to both runtime performance impacts and negates the benefits of treeshaking. Bundlers will detect all components referenced and will include them into the final output.

This scenario is no different than libraries that expose single component angular modules. You need to explicitly import those modules in the implementation.

If a developer wants to maintain their own constant to accomplish that, that is their choice. However, I would not recommend this architecture as a good practice for building high performance apps.
