Yes, there is. Prefix the path with a !.

Here's an example:

src_files:
  - **/*.js
  - !my_path/my_file.js

This would load all js files in your src directory except my_path/my_file.js

but with quotes you guys. eg: "!my_path/my_file.js" Otherwise we get a #<TypeError: can't convert Syck::DomainType to String>

But maybe it depends on your yaml parser?

Right, technically those should be quoted. I think some YAML parsers (maybe all?) require you to quote strings that start with special chars. Thanks for the note!
