I'm also seeing this same issue.
- macOS 11.2
- Chrome 88.0.4324.192 (not working)
- Firefox 85.0.2 (working)
- SSO running on Ubuntu 20.04 + PHP 7.4, using the built in PHP web server
EDIT: This error occurs on the master branch. It seems to work in Chrome on the 0.4 release branch.

I had found cause of problems it due to recent Chrome update cookie policy https://blog.chromium.org/2019/10/developers-get-ready-for-new.html
my recent commit should fix the problems.
For this to work you need HTTPS connection to your website.
