It's possible to serve an actual folder, but I'll have to write the code for it. Will have a look at it in a couple of days (feel free to have a look yourself and submit a PR).

Yes. Is there way to "simulate" that path of classpath so instead of built classes server will serve actual folder on the disk?

It would work like this

app.enableStaticResources(path) // classpath-path
app.enableStaticResources(path, location) // path and location (CLASSPATH or EXTERNAL)

For my usecase I'll provide location only during development. In prod I prefer to pack all resources in one fat jar

Good, that was my reasoning for making the API like that. I'll wait 30 minutes, merge, bump jetty, then release a new version.
