The current serial port code (0.9.3) is already issuing a 'setDTR(false)', so if that doesn't work, I'm afraid I cannot help you further on that one.

I'll can add a short delay after attaching to the serial port and starting the detect-device cycle, if that would help to get your Arduino to initialize itself.

I'm currently busy with the device profiles for Sump, BusPirate and so on. They will be text-based. If I'm a bit further with the implementation, I can send you an example so you can modify it to make it Arduino-specific?

The delay functionality & DTR level are already in the latest GitHub repository, this issue can be regarded as fixed.
