We can try to implement your suggested Feature.
It will be an optional feature that can be activated if needed but will be deactived by default to Not overload the ui.

Hey @cedvan Shame on me. I wanted to write a comment when closing this issue but I just forgot to send.
In my opinion there are a lot of random key generators already available. I'm not sure if it's worth the work to implement this feature.
So currently we are not planning to implement a random generator. If you are interested in contributing to our project feel free to add this feature by yourself.
I can reopen the issue and maybe we can add it one day.
Best regards.

Hey @cedvan can you further explain what is your use-case?
Do you want to have a random value generator?
from kubeseal-webgui.
Yes, need a random value generator.
It is often necessary to generate secrets for new installations, and therefore new random secret values.
Currently I'm using our internal Vault as a random generator, but it's quite time consuming to juggle tools for each value generated.
So I think this feature would be a cool little extra 😄

@cedvan
Thanks for your input. We never had this use case before when we used sealed secrets but we will discuss your improvement suggestion. We will get back to you soon.
