Hey. Any word on the verification? Knowing the whole YouTube/Google DMCA thing, is there a reason why this would be verified? I think I'll be self-hosting a version myself if I can still!

Hello, unfortunately verification was recently received and denied. Initially the bot's verification denial was a result of an accusation that I grew the bot "inorganically". Essentially making fake accounts. I provided the data about the servers the bot was joined to and explained how and why it was not the case. However, Discord then revealed to me that the bot goes against their developer policy - though they did not specify which part of their policy or explain which part of the bot does so.

I have assumed that this bot will not be verified for the same reason that Discord plans to take down music bots from the platform. As recently, Groovy and Rythm were also taken down.

So unfortunately the server cap for Eolian will not be increasing. I still would like to make sure that people who actually want to use the bot can though and I am going to start monitoring and kicking the bot from servers that don't use the bot.
