Hi @harrysarson!
We're supposed to be normalizing the os.EOL to \n. It looks like I missed a spot.
Can you test the latest master branch to see if it resolves your issue.

The issue I am having is that because I am running the code from a bash shell os.EOL === '\n'.
Therefore lines ending with CR-LF are not converted properly. I feel like docdown should be able to handle windows line endings even when running on linux.

That's an interesting gotcha for the BashOnWindows folks for sure. Patched 0fba8ce.
