This is an exercise intended mainly to teach myself the algorithms of the Hierarchical Temporal Memory as described in Numenta's NuPIC project. It is not intended to be useful to anyone but myself, but feel free to take a look.

Grunt or Gulp?

Implement basic SDR encoder stream

In order for the Region to learn, we need a stream to read. We will need to implement an encoder that outputs a readable node.js stream. On each "data" event, this stream should emit an SDR. See here: https://nodejs.org/api/stream.html

Implement Pattern Memory

Implement Transition Memory

As a user, I would like to connect a Region to a data stream.

As a user, I would like to be able to create and configure a new Region.

As a user, I would like to be able to examine the output of a Region.

This would include predictions and anomaly scores.

As a developer, I would like to have automated tests, so that I can be sure that my code continues to work as it changes.
