I don't know what to say really, I am using the latest commits so It shouldn't be an issue...
Should I roll back to the commit you mentioned ??

didn't repro this, it works well on my side.
maybe OLDEST_KERNEL been overwritten somewhere? maybe you can try to set it in your local.conf
