I've already asked to approve the PR which deprecates the stable/jenkins chart. Just wanted to do some testing before.

these maintainers have accepted the GitHub invite and are now part of https://github.com/orgs/jenkinsci/teams/helm-charts-developers/members

I haven't received feedback via mail if everyone still wants to maintain the chart, but I with the accepted invitations we should be good to go for now.

Remove old maintainers who either have declined or not confirmed

I suggest to to do the following. We wait until 1st of October. Who has not accepted the invite by then or did reply to me that he no longer want's to maintain the chart will be removed from the list.

Hi! I would like to collaborate on this project, but it is not clear how to be part of it.
I read the Contribuiting.md file and the only way is to make a pull request and, anything else?

Thanks for the info!

OK, have they all been emailed and asked if they still would like to maintain the chart in this new location? I updated the checklist above.

Since the first version in the new repo has been released, can this be an ongoing effort to address (set an initial date by which to bring on the maintainers or temporarily remote them if no reply by X date), and not a blocker for deprecating the stable chart? helm/charts#23602 They and others can always be added in a rolling fashion.

@roxcarpio Reporting issues which contains steps how to reproduce also help us.

If you want to create a PR and don't know where to start just check out issues which are currently open. Some are also mared fro Hacktoberfest: https://github.com/jenkinsci/helm-charts/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Ahacktoberfest

@torstenwalter I would say remove for now @lachie83 if you haven't heard back - it's been nearly 2 months. He can always be added back if/when he replies. Chances are he's pretty busy 😄 Then looks like this issue can be closed out.
