If you see that patching replacePathSepForGlob() is fixing the problem, just open a PR with a test to proof that. The tests are running on Windows in CI. So that should be sufficient.

I don't think patching replacePathSepForGlob() would be enough. Once a path with backslashes has been added to the glob pattern, it's probably too late. The glob pattern uses backslashes for escaping. A solution could be to convert the backslashes in <rootDir> to slashes before replacing <rootDir> by the path in testMatch patterns.
