In many cases, @Contract(pure = true) implies that return value should be checked.

What about @CanIgnoreReturnValue? Currently for the inspection Java > Declaration Redundancy > Method can be made 'void' you need to use Error Prone's or AssertJ's @CanIgnoreReturnValue. It would be nice to have one from in java-annotations.

Why would you need a return value if you never use it? Sounds completely weird to me. At least, write a single unit-test if return value is something potentially useful. The warning will disappear.
