Hmm I haven't heard of this problem before. If you wanted to debug this, the grunt-exec source code is pretty simple. Let me know if you find a solution and I'll accept a pull request.

Thanks Jake. No problem, I expect most people don't require stdin. I'll
have a look tomorrow and see if I can find the cause.

I get this when running 'ssh server "my command"' through grunt-exec, and that command requires interaction. I can't see what's wrong - did you have any luck?
