I see this error when using SnakeViz with files produced by the profile module. SnakeViz 0.2 only works with output from the cProfile module. Can you verify you're getting this error with cProfile output?

The second error occurs because profiles generated by Python 2 are not compatible with Python 3. You need to run SnakeViz with the same version of Python used to generate the file.

@nav-agarwal, could try installing from the div-zero-error branch and see if that allows you to see your profile? An easy way to install that with pip is to run:

pip install -U https://github.com/jiffyclub/snakeviz/archive/div-zero-error.zip
