I'm a developer, entrepreneur, AI engineer and Smart contract developer. I started my working life as a professional cyclist and was lucky enough to race all over the world and perhaps the pinnacle of my career was the 2002 Commonwealth Games, where I represented Wales. After retiring from cycling I worked in the City of London as a Stockbroker, primarily focused on small cap investments. I have continued my interest in finance, and still trade my own account.
After moving on from stockbroking, I worked in film before launching my first business which was a film and TV production company. I then went on to start a Rock Climbing business and Surfing business. It was during this time that I started coding, initially writing iOS apps, then some ethical hacking before staring the Strive School to learn AI engineering, eventually diving down the crypto rabbit hole and developing smart contracts.
I think there are 2 industries which are going to become crucial in the next few years, they are AI and crypto. Through developing my skills in blockchain development and AI I hope to be able to make contributions to both these industries.
