Hi there,

since you're new to Vue, I recommend playing around with it first. Preferably with Vite. Of course, playing around with Kirby is recommended as well.

This boilerplate requires some knowledge of Vue as well as Kirby. On the contrary to Vue projects, e.g. built with Vite, the public folder is tightly coupled with Kirby and implements a modern folder structure. Thus, the folder is just the entry point which you have to point your web server at.

Inside public/dist are the bundled build assets. But they won't work on their own, because Kirby is used as the backbone of this project.

I recommend you come back later. Studying the README then will answer your questions. 🙂
