And never mind, I think you can close this. I JUST updated a bunch of my packages, and am getting this whenever I run grep. Although on that note, if you know what's causing it/how to fix it, please let me know.

which OS are you using?
Besides that, I think GREP_OPTIONS is an environment variable that's set on your machine.
The script doesn't touch that variable anywhere.

You probably just have to remove that environment variable wherever it is set.
check your ~/.bash_profile, /etc/profile and /etc/bashrc for that variable.

(How about grep-ing the files for it? ;)
