This is the case I got for my Pi4, wanted a neat setup to host the SSD and this is what I found to be recommended. As it came with the fan. I will use it, for the graph etc for PiHole it was something I thought of and a way to learn more programming. It keeps me busy doing my time off when not working. That's about all.

As I am new to all this, I am interested in how it becomes a attack vector for the PiHole? is there something I can change to fix this?

Hi, the attack surface of system is measured by counting all the vulnerable points of system. I am not suggesting what you are doing will increase the attack surface. By preference I make my Pi hole system as simple as possible to minimize it. Good luck!
