@jmzagorski I apologize if this is quite obvious, but how do you create snippets with a backslash? I thought the filename of the snippet is used as the token to be expanded, so I can't create a file called /.snip and \.snip (or for that matter, \\.snip, \\\.snip) is not expanded or triggered after pressing tab:

@rsmith31415 The issue was about slashes in values for placeholders, not snippet names

@Jorengarenar Oh, sorry about that. I appreciate the clarification. I was thinking about snippet names. On that topic, is there a way to create a snippet that is expanded after typing \<Tab>. I found this useful while writing tex documents (e.g. \ should be expanded to \$${$$} where $$ are delimiters. Let me know if I should open a new issue with that question instead.
