👋 Hi, I’m @jorvlan / Jordy van Langen and a PhD candidate at the LCD lab & Donders Institute studying cognitive variability.
👀 I’m interested in best open-source/open-science practices through (1) creating, (2) sharing and (3) helping others with code and data visualizations. I am also doing scientific research as my main job @Donders & @lcd-lab as part of the NWO Open Science Fund
🐨 I am a former visiting junior researcher at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney, Australia.
🌱 We have just published our 2nd raincloudplots R-package called ggrain
💞️ I'm contributing to the free open-source JASP Statistics, developing a new 'raincloudplots' Shiny App, and educating the wider academic community on data visualizations through our Virtual workshops, all funded by our awarded NWO Open Science Fund
I (with Rogier Kievit, @njudd) have received a 2023 NWO Open Science grant for our project: Open Matrices: A global, free resource for testing cognitive ability. More to come soon!
