Yes, it's possible... or at least I'll try to implement this feature ;)

Now the Touchégg code for version 0.2 is freeze, I think that version 0.2 will
be release for next week, but I'll try to add this feature for version 0.3

Any help with the formula to use is wellcome... I tried to add this feature in
the past, but I couldn't get a natural effect

Greetings!

Also related to scrolling, I noticed that if I scroll down, and then scroll up
(without lifting my fingers), it keeps going *down*. I have to lift my fingers
and touch again if I want to change scroll direction.

Hi!

I'm working hard in the next Touchégg version, that will run over Ubuntu 11.04
with uTouch 2.0.
This version allows to use synaptics driver that supports smooth scroll :D

Greetings!

Now I think that second comment isn't a bug. Now i'm use this function to do an
infinite scrolling. Maybe in the GUI you can leave both options to choose the
scroll function.

Parallel to the bug described in comment 2, a similar problem exists (for 0.3)
when you start scrolling up/down and then want to scroll left/right.

This problem is now fixed, as you can see in the Issue 64. Now the action to
scroll is called SCROLL and allow to scroll to any direction. This feature will
be released in the next version... Anyway you can download and compile the code
(but the GUI is not adapted for the moment, because I plan to include big
changes on it)
