Hi Virgolus

Don't worry about your english... wait to read mine hahaha

What OS are you using?

In first place you need install the two packages, Touchégg and Touchégg-GUI,
and ofcourse the evdev driver (package xserver-xorg-input-evdev).

Probably the driver aren't well changed, because you are allowed to make right
click, and the evdev driver only allows to make left click and move the cursor.

Please, install Touchégg and run it from a terminal ($ touchegg) and then make
gestures. If all works fine, the gesture names and the associated actions
should appear in the terminal.

If you have any problem please ask.
Greetings!

sorry for (fundamental) missing information.

Ubuntu 10.10 64bit kde 4.6.1

"xserver-xorg-input-evdev" is installed.
touchegg installed from DEB 64 bit v 0.2

I've launchet touchegg from console and play with touchpad but this is my
output:

$ touchegg
Reading config from "/home/virgolus/.touchegg/touchegg.conf"

Mmm... it seems doesn't capture anything from my touchpad.
I've also insstalled this dependencie:
libutouch-geis1
Version: 1.0.11-0ubuntu1

Thx for support!

Hi!

Ok, the problem is that the driver aren't well changed, as I said you:
> Probably the driver aren't well changed, because you
> are allowed to make right click, and the evdev driver
> only allows to make left click and move the cursor.

Try this. Delete the lines that you added to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf, then go
to your /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ path.

Edit your "50-synaptics.conf" file changing the driver like this:

 Section "InputClass"
    Identifier "touchpad catchall"
#Driver "synaptics" # This line is a comment, if not work delete the bottom line and uncomment this ;)
    Driver "evdev"
    MatchIsTouchpad "on"
    MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
 EndSection

Restart and try to run Touchégg, if not works try to ask about your trackpad
support in the uTouch web page:
https://answers.launchpad.net/utouch

If work try to copy this configuration to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file
Greetings!

Excelent!

> 1 finger tap doesn't work

No? Doesn't work "physicall" click, "tap" click or both? Really I don't know
what may be the reason, you are the first user that report that problem...
Please, give me more information and I'll try to help you

> the speed of pointer is too high for me.

You can manage mouse speed following this guide:
http://jasonxh.blogspot.com/2008/02/slow-down-your-evdev-mouse.html

Greetings!

PS - Please, after get Touchégg running send me a little how-to about

Ok, for next version I'll add a "one finger tap" gesture. When this feature is
avaliable I'll let you know ;)
