2serialattiny85 icon 2serialattiny85

Two Serials with ATTINY85 using SoftwareSerial. Not intended use but possible.

amg8833thermal icon amg8833thermal

My take on AMG8833. I took the simplistic code using only a subset of the accessible capabilities and then combined it with the Arduino demo version, and also made it use the regular i2c libraries on Raspberry Pi and output to a screen buffer.

bbbadc icon bbbadc

Just some quick and dirty Beaglebone Black ADC with C Code for anybody who needs it.

canbussignaldrone icon canbussignaldrone

Signal Drones for pumping query and response data to throttle control systems for testing.

pointer_fu icon pointer_fu

A foray into pointers to functions in C, with an array of pointers to functions.

realwowrldarduinousage icon realwowrldarduinousage

A test station would send data over a serial line and we needed to print labels based on that data. This example shows the combination of several "basic" Arduino samples for LCD and Keypad and we take a serial data output from a test station and use it to drive ZPL to a Zebra label printer

samplehal_gpio icon samplehal_gpio

Using a Raspberry Pi as a replacement brain for an old Fisnar Gluebot, here is an example of the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) used. HALs can be complex at first, but once you work with them for a while they are easy to implement.

sent-saej2716 icon sent-saej2716

A SENT SAE J2716 "cry baby" using a Nano to send SENT data. Useful notes within.

starfield-with-opencv icon starfield-with-opencv

An adaptation of the 3D starfield sample from Chapter 3 of "Cutting-Edge 3d Game Programming With C++" by John De Goes using an image buffer with OpenCV

thelastperlscriptiwrote icon thelastperlscriptiwrote

This is the last Perl script I wrote after 2 years of writing thousands of lines of Perl. RIP Perl.

zebra-tlp2824-printing-from-excel icon zebra-tlp2824-printing-from-excel

Printing barcodes the lean and mean way from Excel using an old Zebra TLP 2824 Barcode printer. The task was mainly about being able to print part number labels from a spreadsheet containing a Bill of Materials, but only an old printer was provided. Some use of code from here and there finally made this work past the biggest obstacle of sending "raw" EPL/ZPL to printers on USB: that "magic string"
