Cannot GET /v1/jquery/libraries

The current jQuery API relies on scraping. Given jQuery site has been redone, the scraper should be rewritten as well. Ideally it should point at https://github.com/jquery/codeorigin.jquery.com . Any takers?

This sounds like a fragile scraper.

Is error detection is scope? This would allow stale data to be given out by the API if scraping is not working.

Along with #47 users of the API should see how recent the data is. This allows downstream to be able to trust this API.

Not sure how error detection is set up.

Relying on their repo instead of the site would make it more robust. That's how it works in other cases. There are gotchas with that too (GH API limits etc.) but it's a better way to deal with it.
