Probably we should check where it matters for the algorithm, and when we return polygons they should have the repeated point?

At some point, we should make sure that this is happening for all algorithms and make sure it is done in a consistent way.

Just to chime in for people reading this issue, GO.fix can fix unclosed linear rings.
