please let me know if you see any typos in there. it was rather a large change, but definitely necessary (and I detected at least a few other issues with the old code).
from gtk.jl.
Seems to work. Thanks!
Maybe GtkTreePath should also be implemented this way? I.e. not using a pointer but implementing it as value type.
from gtk.jl.
No, in the C code, GtkTreePath is a regular-type, whereas GtkTextIter was a value-type
from gtk.jl.
Hm isnt it:
typedef struct {
/* GtkTextIter is an opaque datatype; ignore all these fields.
* Initialize the iter with gtk_text_buffer_get_iter_*
* functions
*/
} GtkTextIter;
and
struct _GtkTreePath
{
gint depth; /* Number of elements */
gint alloc; /* Number of allocated elements */
gint *indices;
};
typedef struct _GtkTreePath GtkTreePath;
Don't understand the difference here.
from gtk.jl.
It's a difference in usage. GtkTextIter can be copied and freed by assignment. GtkTreePath cannot. It's the same as the difference between immutable and type in Julia.
Theres a slight syntactic difference in the typedef, but c isn't very rich in that sort of type description, so you don't get much
from gtk.jl.
