I have not seen this or other Tk related crashes in a while now. Should we close this? Also,this issue needs more specific information on how to recreate this bug - I am guessing this was more of a note to self.

I can reproduce this regularly, simply by: julia -f -e 'using Compose; using Tk'
OS 10.9.2, Julia master (654e533), with Compose (Both 0.1.29 and master 6ec5e7a) and Tk 0.2.12. Pkg.status(). All binary dependencies are installed via Julia's Homebrew.

Strike that. It disappeared again after a make clean && make.
