So far it looks good
I would bet that data are in the DB :).
How have you check that Data are not in Influxdb ?
Have you followed the troubleshooting guide ?
Please make sure to check your timestamp on both Junos and OpenNTI and make sure you are Looking into the juniper
database on Influxdb, it's not the default one
from open-nti.
Hi Damien,
I followed the steps in the troubleshooting guide. Packets are reaching the container.
Both Junos and OpenNTI have the same timezone (PST) set. But don't exactly match. Would that be an issue?
I am checking Juniper database on InfluxDB web interface, but it shows no records, though the Query (SELECT * FROM "MEASUREMENTS") is a success.
Thanks,
Swetha.

is there a way I can access the device within JNPR ?
from open-nti.
Yes Damien.
S/W is installed on poc-docker1 machine. You can access the device and check if there are any issues.
Thanks,
Swetha.

I checked the server, indeed there is nothing in the DB
I tried a tcpdump inside the container as well and I couldn't see any traffic neither
On which interface of the host is the traffic supposed to come from ?
Thanks
Damien

Hi Damien,
Some issues on the server I believe. I re-configured IP and now I am getting packets on the physical interface ens192. But I don't see them inside the JTI container.
Thanks,
Swetha.

Hi Damien,
Thanks for the support. I could fix the issue on the server and we are seeing graphs in Grafana.
Could you send the plugin to be installed for GRPC sensors? I can give it a try.
Regards,
Swetha.

@seaswar2505 Glad to hear that
here is the experimental plugin for Openconfig Telemetry https://github.com/Juniper/open-nti-input-oc
You'll find instruction on the project itself.
Keep in mind that you'll have to create Dashboard/Graph for these data. We haven't created graphs for Openconfig Yet. If you do so, please contribute them to the project :)
you can use the dashboard generator for that
Let me know if you have more questions. I'm closing this issue as the initial issue is resolved.
Thanks
Damien
