I'm currently using this without jQuery actually. I looked over it and I believe you are only using the jQuery Lite functionality that is built into Angular. So I don't think this is an issue. 👍

Ah, thanks, wasn't aware of that. Haven't really tried it without jQuery :)

Actually there was one little dependency and with element.keydown(...) and now it's element[0].addEventListener('keydown',...)
fixed with this commit: 8cb33ae
