i doubt they will add mpeg-dash in open source version, they dont even support hls

they do support HLS on iOS (by default), PC (with flash) and in v6.9 it is also supported on Android (http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1430218-using-hls-streaming#androidhls)
only DASH is not supported yet :/

We're indeed investigating support for MPEG DASH. If you haven't voted for the feature, I'd recommend you add your voice to our public roadmap:

Initially, we're looking to support the live and on-demand DASH264 profiles for HTML5 browsers that include the necessary Media Source Extensions (Chrome, IE11, Safari8). It'll likely be part of all player editions, including Free.

DASH support is available in the commercial version of jwplayer 7. You can read about the details here.
