Hi!
This is far from being a working prototype. (The schematics in this repo are really just the result of me wanting to try out KiCad's new 3d viewer.)
I'm still trying to figure out, how fast the voltage can be read off piezos while reliably detecting strikes, so that I can estimate how many input channels the microcontroller could handle.
How's your mallet controller coming along?

Hi more than a year later I am getting somewhere.
Working on a first prototype now with 32 keys. I am not using piezo's instead I am creating my own force sensing sensors made of paper, a bit of velostat and some cuppertape. This way In a later stage i could also detect aftertouch and stuff. The electronics are actually quite simple, a teensy microcontroller, 2 multiplexers and 2 resistors, that's all
