I confirm it fixes cross-build to M1, thanks again.

May have more to do with how the conan recipe is setting up cmake differing from how I have done it before.
And that with the assembly code enabled by default on MacOS, cross compilation setups now use the (definitely less well tested) python code path. I'm looking into it as I have an intel based mac to work from.

There was a minor issue in the scripts/parse_asm_values.py
the patch is very simple to apply:
