just check the element where the placeholder is located and use the correct css selector...
you need to override .ql-editor.ql-blank::before

First of all, Thank you for the insight. I am new to web development and I was not aware of this feature. However, when I try to change the style from the component's css file, it is not changing. Why is that? Best, Ilias

then you should get deeper in development with angular (View encapsulation and so on), js, html and css.

so but you overridings of those css things in the global.css for now. And if you selector is correct it should work.

In any other case - github issues are not there for general help just for issues regarding the project. so if you have general questions about web dev and so on. try stack overflow ;-)
