Same thing applies to deleting characters.

Same thing also applies to words and paragraphs. So basically, nothing updates when deleting using the 'Del' key.

Some further info: I tested on one of my computers that was still running v2.1.0 and the Delete key bug was not present. So it's been introduced in one of the latest updates, either in v2.2.0 or v2.2.1

@Kirozen This bug is back again, after upgrading from v2.3.0 to v2.4.1. I wonder if this issue can be add to a test suite? It seems we either have this bug, or the other bug where quickly selecting text doesn't count words properly, and fixing one breaks the other?
