Interesting. The first proposal (dereferencing identifiers via Webfinger) shouldn't be too hard to implement on our side
The second one is a little more involved (just because of the need of a DNS client), but also totally doable.
We can explore these ideas. This should probably happen before the first proper release, just because I want a clean data model and no gigantic migrations.
