Maybe pyobjus not included ? or maybe fails to launch in rosetta/Intel silicon mode. If the latter then the issue can be worked around by packaging universal2 wheel from pypi, pip doe not install universal. Issue with universal2 wheel is known and should be solved soon.

@akshayaurora pyobjus is included. The same problem is actually when packaging on Windows (not a VM, native Windows 11 machine)...will look into universal2 today

hiddenimports=['...', 'plyer', 'plyer.platforms.win.filechooser', ...] try adding this to your spec file. replace <win> with your platform.
