Hmm, there is no way at the moment. After reading more of the spec there are a few attributes to support. There is no clean way of supporting attributes with the current setup. I'm going to have to think of the best way to support this. Perhaps an easy workaround is to allow :player_loc_attributes => {} option or something like that

As far as I know, only player_loc may have attributes according to recent sitemap reference. So :player_loc_attributes => {} would be a good solution.

I'm super close to releasing some updates for Video sitemaps but haven't had the time to finish it. I thought I'd let you know that the code already supports those attributes (! surprising I know...an undocumented feature). The options are :allow_embed and :autoplay.

The updates I've added are mainly for proper formatting of dates and stuff, oh and I've added lots of docs for Video Sitemaps. So now all the info you will need is right in the README :) Coming soon...

Ok I've released v2.1.8 with full video sitemap support :). I suggest you upgrade and check out the docs in the README.
