If I understand your suggestion correctly, you would like to save the metadata into the PDF (like it currently works for PNG, by the way), and then be able to directly save to the same file when editing a re-opened PDF file. Is this correct?

It would be not straightforward to currently implement such functionality in the current KLF program architecture, since the user interface is not "document-oriented", but there may be a way around this.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it some thought.

Maybe KLF uses dvitopdf...(external program).
So KLF manipulate output file.

1. save pdf (current algorithm)
2. change pdf metadata (future algorithm that will be to be added)

1. open pdf(future algorithm that will be to be added)

2. reading pdf metadata.(future algorithm that will be to be added)

3. input it into latex input window.(future algorithm that will be to be added)

I do not think that this is difficult.

Ok then--feel free to submit a patch. But please preserve the current user experience philosophy and architecture of the program. This is where KLF has not been designed for your suggestion.

No,No. I have no ability for programming.
Please upgrade your program that eps and pdf may operate like png.
Now png format(bitmap) is not adequite for quarkxpress or indesign.
But eps or pdf(vector) is very good for DTP.

The development version [1] now has support for reopening PDF saved files.
